In March of 2010, myself and four other people tested for our Black Belts at our dojo. We hired Christine to shoot the vidoe and take photo's. She arrived as scheduled with her partner and daughters to shoot the pictures and video (so we thought). After a couple of weeks, we received a CD with our pictures, but no video. Upon viewing the pictures, we found candid pictures of her children making silly faces into the camera etc. Less than professional is an understatement, but I simply deleted those.
Weeks turned into months, and months have now turned into years and we still do not have ANY form of the video we paid in advance for. We have requested on several occassions via phone, email etc for copies of the raw video, for a final version...anything to no avail. This was a once in a lifetime event for us and that moment is now gone forever due to her actions.
DO NOT USE Christine Monahan or North Action Shots in ANY respect if you are in the East Northport/Northport area on Long Island. She will take your money, and then avoid you when you come asking for the goods. Speaking to several other people outside of the martial arts world who used her, they have stated she did not deliver their videos, or delivered them far too late to be of any use.
Christine Monahan is a fraud, a scammer and has no business ethics or accountability.
