Christine Radey Christine Annrdy, Chris Annrdy, Recruit Squad International Convicted Fraudster Christine Radey Is Back At It Again! Toronto Ontario

I am the latest victim of Christine Radey, who is currently using the alias Chris or Christine Annrdy. Ms. Radey has a business, Recruit Squad International ("RSI"), which I contend she also uses as a front to carry out her fraudulent activities. At the time, she also had a partner in the business by the name of Marc Doucet. I am currently unaware of his whereabouts, but he is still listed on LinkedIn as a partner in the business. I am not certain of his involvement in this matter, although he did co-sign all of the promissory notes for the funds forwarded. Until recently, Ms. Radey operated out of 55 Stewart Street in Toronto, Ontario. I believe that she is now residing and operating out of 66 Richbell Street in Thornhill, Ontario.

I began to advance monies to RSI in September of 2014 to provide working capital for a project involving Allura International Inc., based out of Vancouver, Canada. The monies were to specifically fund the payroll of a number of information technology contractors. Although I was not privy to the particulars of the contract, Ms. Radey indicated that her client was being charged a $20/hr premium on said contractors. The monies extended were loaned at a rate of interest intended to recover my associated costs with providing the funds (and generally ran between 1% and 6%). Each loan, was made for a period of three months, as they were simply meant to cover the initial investment required to bring the contractors on board and until the client was invoiced and began to pay RSI. However, as per Ms. Radey, as client needs grew, more contractors were needed and additional working capital was required. I thus agreed to advance further funds.

When repayment schedules began to be missed in early 2015, I approached Ms. Radey to inquire on the status of the project. She first indicated that because some contractors had quit, she needed the money being paid by the client to replace contractors. A few weeks later when I inquired again, she indicated that she had made an error in the contract, which stipulated that the hourly contractor premium was to be 20% and not $20/hr; thus putting further pressure on her projected cash-flow. I began to have doubts as to Ms. Radey's business acumen, but continued to support her. I did insist to see a statement of cash flows so that I could understand what was happening. Ms. Radey indicated that she did not have one (something I found rather surprising), but that she would prepare one for me to review. When I inquired again a few weeks later, Ms. Radey indicated that she had prepared a spreadsheet with the information I had asked but had lost the file. However, she assured me that the client was to provide a final cheque and that although the amount would not cover the loans outstanding in their entirety, the debts owed to me would still be honoured. In total, and not including interest, I provided Ms. Radey with $89,200. A few weeks later, and after a promised final cheque never arrived, I inquired again. This is when Ms. Radey now revealed that Allure was no longer in business.

What Ms. Radey failed to point out was that Allura International and all of its subsidiaries had filed for bankruptcy in September of 2012 (Campbell, Saunders - Trustee), nearly two full years before I advanced any funds. When I approached Ms. Radey about this, she indicated that in fact the company was Allure Technical Inc.; however, upon conducting a search on the internet, it appears that no such firm exists in Vancouver (although one does exist in New York City). When asked to provide the name of the executive with whom she was dealing respecting the matter, Ms. Radey never responded.

Given these odd facts, it would appear that the monies forwarded to RSI may never have been used for the purpose for which they were loaned. Through some additional research (undoubtedly research I should have done prior to advancing any funds to Ms. Radey), I found claims from other individuals that say that Ms. Radey has ran this sort of scheme as a scam in the past. Although I cannot attest to the veracity of those claims, I am concerned about the similarities to my particular situation. I have confirmed that Ms. Radey has a prior and recent conviction for fraud over $5,000 and for which she was ordered to pay a fine (Ontario Court of Justice, suspended sentence, January 25, 2013). I am assuming that this fine and any other monies she owes were paid, as I know for a fact that she has not served jail time. Perhaps she used my funds to settle her previous obligations and penalties.

I would appreciate any other information that anyone may have respecting Ms. Radey and her activities. I plan to approach the authorities and to pursue legal action against her.

Its truly unfortunate that she hurt so MANY people.  I can't believe she just kept going after we had her arrested!  By the dates here she was literally running multiple frauds when she had a bench warrant out for her arrest for our case.  To make it worse she was running the same scam but for bigger stakes!  She just has no conscience or remorse.  If history holds any truth she will no doubt show up on here again soon!  At least the name of the trustee is listed so they could potentially contacted if she's out there robbing people.  So shameful that the minimum payment for that bankruptcy is $100.00/month.  That's just crazy considering how much the settlement was in the end.  I'll never forget her mother literally "bowing" to the judge on her way out of court, with the great actress sitting there looking so pathetic!  "Thank you so much your honour."  Can you believe it?  Sickening.  By that point the Court definitely had her number! Hopefully, Karma will take it's course on this woman some day.  She is just pure evil!

Update on Christine Radey (a.k.a, Christine Annrdy, Christine Jones, Christine Radley)

#12Author of original report

Thu, June 04, 2020

On April 17, 2018, at the Superior Court of Justice in Bankruptcy and Insolvency, Ms. Radey was ordered to repay $103,000 of the approximate $0.75M she took from her unsuspecting victims (Court File No. 31-2089871).

On June 3, 2020, I contacted the Trustee in Bankruptcy for Ms. Radey and was advised that to date she has complied with the order and been making the required minimum payment of $100 a month. As of June of 2020 the total amount paid into the estate is $2,638 - at this rate it will take her another 83 years to fulfill her obligations. Needless to say that Ms. Radey knows how to work the system.

She is being required to provide the Trustee with any and all aliases that she goes by, but I do not believe that she is required to provide her whereabouts. I also do not have any further information as to where she is working.

If anyone has any additional information about what Ms. Radey may be up to, please share that information here where it may help others to avoid my fate.

Christine Radey, Christines Jones, Christine Anndry, Rekrutr, has multiple frauds on the go at any given time

As you can see from the trail of comments Christine Radey (or whatever she's calling herself this week) has no remorse, or conscience.  Our company was one of her victimes.  We had her charged by the police with fraud, and managed to have her convicted.  She had to pay us restitution and because she lied to the court and disappeared several times, they had lost all patience and sympathy.  In reality, they stopped believing her lies and sob stories about gambling and alcohol addiction, and demanded she pay back the money she stole.  It was a pretty elaborate fraud using forged contracts and signatures, which I've seen her run again here on Ripoff Report on yet another victim.  We were happy to have the money back certainly, but would love to see this person do time.  She has defrauded so many people now its hard to keep up.

Agencies do not need a business license in the City of Toronto and there is no regulatory body that oversees the industry.  If she stole money from you all you can do is report it to the police.  She has been arrested multiple times, but is obviously still out on the street defrauding more people.  All you can do is keep filing Ripoff Reports, or perhaps make comments on their Facebook and Twitter feeds so that you bring attention to her real name.  If people google her they will find her here on Ripoff Report.

If you read all of my postings you will know that Christine pulled the exact same thing on my company.  We filed charges and she paid a "fine in lieu" to be paid as restitution to avoid going to jail.  The judge was very clear on this point which was the only reason we got our funds returned.  Of course she paid it over time which was NOT how it was supposed to be paid out, but for some reason the court allowed it, until the last time when they demanded she pay the balance in full.

She gave us all the same excuses once we caught her, even the loan from a "relative".  She hasn't changed anything about the scam or how she delays the victim going to the police.  The whole "gambling" addiction is completely false I think.  That came into play when her 2nd lawyer showed up.  They blamed her behaviour on her "illness" and unfortunately the court bought it and delayed proceedings..AGAIN.  Make sure you keep all of the forged documents, and you will need Mr. Doucet as a witness.  That is how they will convict her.  They will charge her with fraud, Her not repaying the loan would be a litigation matter, and obviously you'd never collect now that she's declared bankruptcy.  Good luck!  I hope someone finally puts this woman in prison where she belongs!

In the Wake of Radey

As it turns out Ms. Radey owes about $0.75 million, most of it obtained fraudulently and most of it owed to three individual lenders that include myself. At the meeting of creditors on March 23, 2016, the Trustee handling the matter did not seem overly impressed with Ms. Radey's admission that she gambled away most of the money. Her case is ongoing.

In the meantime, I was contacted by Ms. Radey's ex-employer, Huntex. It appears that their connection to Ms. Radey has caused them some grief. Although Huntex was not very forthcoming when I was conducting my inquiry into Ms. Radey's nefarious affairs just after she filed for bankruptcy, it appears that Huntex was just one more victim in the wake of Ms. Radey's destructive path and their plight should serve as a caution for anyone who comes across this sociopath and is considering doing business with her.

Hi Duncan, Thank you for your contribution. Back in January, shortly after you reported that Ms. Radey resolved your matter, I asked her about it and she indicated that she didn't know anything about a Duncan. Perhaps you were using an alias on this site (which is understandable). I would appreciate hearing more about your matter, if you're amenable, you can contact me directly at czekmart @ hot mail . com. Thanks, R.

Update on Christine Radey/Annrdy

#12Author of original report

Fri, February 26, 2016

Ms. Radey has admitted to getting into financial troubles as a result of a gambling problem. She has admitted to being deceitful to both me and her former business partner, Mr. Doucet. She seemed to fully understand the repercussions of her actions and that if she did not right her wrongs, she would likely serve jail time. Ms. Radey claimed to be a victim of circumstance and extolled her efforts to turn over a new leaf. Unfortunately, this all appears to have been just another fabrication.

A couple of days before Christmas Eve Ms. Radey reached out and proposed to make full repayment of the funds of which she defrauded me. She claimed that she would approach her uncle who might, in turn, be able to take out a mortgage on his home. She asked for a few days to put this together. She indicated that she had met with the bank and that the request was being processed. When I asked about the name of the institution and of the individual with whom she was dealing, Ms. Radey refused to say. A few days later she indicated to me that the bank, having done a background check, had denied the application. This seemed odd to me given the fact that it was her uncle making the application and not her. However, she refused to provide any details.

I would be remiss to mention that York Regional Police contacted me over this time and expressed an interest in Ms. Radey. I am not sure what the nature of that interest is. I can only speculate that there may be other victims or near-victims out there. I was asked whether I had filed my complaint with Toronto Police. I responded that I had not done so yet because I was in great need of the money and preferred to hold out a bit longer as long as there seemed to be any hope of recovering my funds.

On January 4, Ms. Radey began full-time employment at an executive recruitment firm called Huntex, located in north Toronto. She advised me that, with this job, she would be able to approach a “loan shark” who was a friend of a friend and potentially repay me my money. She added that if she could not borrow the whole amount owed that she would repay the outstanding amount in installments through her job. I advised Ms. Radey that I wanted confirmation of employment and she agreed to let me speak to her employer. As I subsequently found out from this conversation, her employer became aware of Ms. Radey’s troubles just before she started with them. According to her employer, a client of the firm warned them about the on-line complaints respecting Ms. Radey. Despite this, they agreed to keep her on. I advised Huntex that I was willing to work with Ms. Radey as long as a credible repayment plan were put in place. They agreed and indicated that they trusted Ms. Radey would do good on her promise.

In the meantime, Ms. Radey continued to tell me that her loan was being reviewed by her “loan shark.” Finally, on January 19, Ms. Radey indicated that the “loan shark” refused to forward her any funds because of my recent postings on this web site. However, she indicated that she would be receiving a first pay on January 21 and that a payment would follow shortly thereafter. After some additional delays, Ms. Radey made a payment of $1,800. Although the cheque bounced, she shortly thereafter deposited the same amount in cash. She assured me that this was a hiccup and that going forward she would continue to make payments in and around the 20th of every month. Just a few days before she was due to make a second payment, I received an e-mail from Ms. Radey indicating that she had been dismissed from Huntex and that she was intending to declare bankruptcy. Besides me, her e-mail message was addressed to two other individuals, of whom I had no knowledge. Ms. Radey’s bankruptcy claim is being handled by David Sklar & Associates - Trustee.

On February 20, I contacted the Toronto Police Service to file a formal complaint against Ms. Radey. I also advised York Regional Police of my filing. As of the date of this update, an officer had not been assigned to the case. I have also not heard anything back from York Regional Police.

On February 22, I received Ms. Radey’s Notice of Bankruptcy from the trustee. There are several creditors listed on her Statement of Affairs with the three main creditors (of whom I am one) being owed nearly half a million dollars. In this same statement, Ms. Radey lists her employer as Huntex (even though she claims that she was dismissed). I have tried on a couple of occasions to confirm this with Huntex, but they refuse to respond to my e-mail and voice-mail messages.

I understand from one of the other creditors (whom I contacted after receiving Ms. Radey’s e-mail) that he has also filed a complaint with Toronto Police. I have also confirmed that Mr. Doucet has filed a report with Toronto Police with respect to the forgery of his signature on loan documents.

If anyone else has been victimized by Ms. Radey, I would urge you to file a report with the police. Also feel free to contact me through this medium – together we can ensure that more people do not fall prey to Ms. Radey’s schemes.

I was with Christine from the period of Dec 8 to Dec 15 2015. She was allegedly in hospital after that upwards to Dec 25 2015. Before this she told me her bank account was compromised. All sums removed (but this could be a pitch for a scam). She asked me to loan her $5k. If she was robbed, I think the banks are slow to cover her loss with her alleged fraud conviction. I am shocked to have discovered this information. With me, she identified herself as Christine Anndry but her travel documents identify her as Mrs Christine A Radey. She owes me money also and is now avoiding me. I know where she will work in the new year and where she lives now. Whoever has prior dealings with Christine please call me. *** *** ****

It appears we can add forgery to Ms. Radey's extensive résumé...

I have located Mr. Doucet and have had an extensive conversation and ongoing correspondence with him. I am satisfied that he too has been deceived by Ms. Radey. It appears that Ms. Radey forged Mr. Doucet's signature on all five promissory notes signed on behalf of RSI. However, the questions that remain are: what has Ms. Radey done with the money and what other wrongdoings are we still left to discover?
