Christopher's House of Hope Christopher's House of Dope is a Joke West Palm Beach, Florida
Christopher's House of Hope (CHOH) is a self-described Sober Living/Life Rehabilitation Facility in W Palm Beach, Florida. Named after the founder's son, Christopher Occhipinti, a youth fatally injured in a drunk driving incident in 2001, CHOH was allegedly started to help alcoholics and drug addicts recover from their addictions.
It couldn't be further from the truth. The owner, also Christopher Occhipinti, buys and sells distressed residential properties in Palm Beach County. He uses his residents, those people he claims he is trying to help, to fix up his properties for resale. A more proper description for his residents are: "indentured servants". Occhipinti lures unsuspecting people, down on their luck, to work for him in exchange for a bed and $100 a week. Don't work for Chris and his operation and the next thing you know you are homeless again, kicked out on the street.
This nearly condemned facility, located in a drug-laden, low income section of town, is run by Patty Madsen, another one of Chris's indentured servants. Her primary job is to shake-down those residents not working for Chris for an absurd $150 a week. Yes, for only $150 a week you too can live in a filthy and run-down apartment complex sharing a room with 2 or 3 other people and sharing one bathroom with the entire operation of 10 to 15 residents.
Christopher's House of Hope can be more aptly described as Christopher's House of Dope. Nearly every resident, including those in management of the facility, spend their time and money buying and consuming alcohol and a cornucopia of various drugs available a short walk from the building. Patty Madsen and her crew spend their evenings partying up a storm and stumbling around these grounds shaking down other residents for money for more drugs, more booze, cigarettes and food.
Recovering alcoholic and drug addict beware! If you are looking for a safe place to recover from your addictions avoid Christopher's House of Dope at all costs.
