My story is the same as all the others reported on Ripoff.com

I met Dave through e'bay. I sent him pictures to quote price and we made what should have been a fast easy deal.
I shipped him parts and made half of my $450.00 payment through paypal.

Total estimate of turnaround was set at 5 weeks allowing 1 week shipping each way and 3 weeks to complete work.

after checking with him I got a call about 10 weeks later saying the parts were done and he asked me to send the balance of payment via western union which I did and he would send me my parts as agreed at the very beginning.

Weeks later I did not see my parts and thats when the year long nightmare began.

Without knowing his true business habits I made courtious calls and messages only to recieve responses weeks later each time with excuse after excuse.

After 7 months he finally gave me a tracking numer only to find when I rcvd the package it was only the small nuts and bolts and missing the two major parts of my rare extended 1938 Harley springer that was rebuild custom for a friend/clients custom bike.

again I contact him, I rcvd more excuses with false promisses. Months later I finally did recieve the rear legs of the springer but still missing the front legs that still have not been returned and now I don't get any responses from my e'mails and he screens his phone calls and its going on a year now.

I build bikes as a hobby and since this was not my property and what I did recieve back from Dave was not complete I was forced to replace this springer front end at full cost which cost me $2500.00

As a last result I informed Dave I was given a deadline by the owner to produce this item or he was going to use the money he was holding back. Again I got a promise and an extention on my delivery date but again that promise from Dave was false.

I have truly tride to be patient and work with him even to the point were I authorized him just to return my piece unfinished and I would finish it elsewere so I could avoid my loss but he didn't even do that for me.

Since my ordeal with Dave I have met and spoke with others and assure you their story are the same as mine and based on my experience with Chrome Express/Dave Parks does fall into the criteria of a thief and should be punished to the full extent of the law and forced to pay restitution to his victoms.

Chrome Express - David Parks made good and returned items.

Item was returned it good condition and finished.

They did an excellent chrome job on this piece.

Much later than I would have liked but appoligy was given and accepted. He even offered services to make up for trouble.

This deal between myself and Chrome express is closed.
