My son purchased a new Chrysler Crossfire. Almost from the start the transmision kept jumping out of 1st gear. A technical service bulletin was issued because of the numerous problems with this transmission for this car.
They did indeed attempt a repair which if you read the different responses on the internet they tell you the repair will not work. After this repair it still continued to jump out of 1st gear just as the responses indicated. Even though the bulletin says you do not need to duplicate the problem to perform the TSB I beleive they do not know what to do when the repair doesn't work. I stand corrected their stance is to just refuse to do anything else unless it jumps out of gear while they test drive the vehicle. I can not begin to list here all that has happened to me trying to get this vehicle fixed. Hell one of the corporate big dogs, Mr Mike Ferrell suggested that I just go buy another vehicle. I now am on a crusade to discredit this type of handling of customers with legitamate complaints. They know if the real problem is found, it will cause a massive recall. I hope they get everything coming to them. Feel free to call me with the whole story.
