I leased a 1999 Jeep Cherokee, which was financed through Chrysler Financial.

When the lease was up, we received a bill from Chrysler Financial for the over miles. However, it also included an extra month's payment because Chrysler could not schedule the turn-in inspection in a timely manner (of which I was more than accomodating by taking the day off work).

I contacted them, and they instructed me not to pay the bill. Instead, they said they would correct the bill by removing that charge, and send me a new one.

During a phone call I received from them a month later (asking why I hadn't paid the bill yet), I explained that I had never received the corrected bill, and they promised it would be sent. Another month later, I finally received the corrected bill. However, a week later (after I had made payment)I was notified that my account was turned over to a collection agency!

I tried several times to find out why it was sent to collections, and to get it pulled back, but only received rudeness from not only the clerical staff, but also supervisory staff, including Sharon Gifford.

When I contacted them to get the name of a director, I was told by "Jason" that there was no senior person running the office. When I questioned his statement, he replied that would not give me a name, but rather I would have to speak with the supervisor (which I already had done with no success). I explained to Jason that I had already spoken with Sharon, to which he replied there was nothing more they could do to accomodate me.

I am in the process of trying to get a name where I can send a letter explaining what my experiences were, and how I will tell every person I come in contact with NOT to work with Chrysler Financial. I have never been treated so badly!
