Chrysler Financial, They do not want to take responsibility for messing up my account rip off Detroit Michigan
In Jan. 2002 I moved and forgot to send my payment off. I called in my Jan. payment at the same time I mailed in a payment. They took both payments out of my checking account.
I got a call telling me that I did not send in my Feb. payment, when I knew that I had mailed it in. When I checked my account, both payments had been taken out. I faxed them copies from the bank showing that the money had in fact come out of my account. Then about two-three months later they mailed my father a refund check with his old account number on it( my father signed for me. Both names are on the account).
We figured that they had over paid because the same month they made a payment, my dad traded his truck in for larger one. Since his account was closed and the later said refund we figured that's what it was, a refund. Then they wanted to say that the check that was mailed out to my parents was actual my money.
What I don't understand is If it's my money then why did it have his account#,VIN# and the word refund in the letter. Also why didn't have my account information in the letter. They do not want to take responsibility for messing up my account.

I've been screwed royally by these people at Chrysler Financial also. I know exactly what you mean. It will take a while, but try to get in touch with their fraud department...you might have to go through Chrysler corporate to get your issue resolved though. If you want to see their other screw ups, go to my ripoff report...listed under Sam Dell in the auto dealers section. Good luck dealing with these bastards!

I've been screwed royally by these people at Chrysler Financial also. I know exactly what you mean. It will take a while, but try to get in touch with their fraud department...you might have to go through Chrysler corporate to get your issue resolved though.
