I have a 2001 jeep gr che. and I have a little over 1 year left to pay. I am a Disabled, single parent and my parents help me pay this bill. So sometime it is late and we pay two months at a time. Well, when your even a day late they start to call! One time a answered and told them we would pay soon, and she keep saying it needed to be payed NOW or I need to take the car back to the dealer and sign it over! She also kept repeating "DOn't I have a back up plan"
and she wouldn't le tme off the phone to even call me folks to see if we can make one payment.(thats all that was due) and she kept repeating...I ended up hanging up on her. We were forced to pay one months payment and set up another within two weeks or they wouldn't take any payment at all. I asked his guy if they are refusing payment? He was like "no, but we need to set up that next payment" IT wasn't even due yet! I can't wait to either sell this car or pay it off. I hate to deal with them, they are so rude. I still have no idea what bring it back to the dealer would do....its only worth about 3 thousand dollars and I owe a little over 6 thousand?? I understand when your over due, your overdue...but when you choose to fix our car or pay it..what do you do? I fixed it.

Pay your Bills On-Time

#2Consumer Suggestion

Mon, December 01, 2008

Hi, People won't call you requesting payment after it is late if you pay it on-time. You made an agreement to Chrysler Financial to pay them $XXX.XX per month for XX months. They are not the bad guy for calling you when you didn't hold up your end of the deal. If the Government paid you your disability when they felt like it sometimes in 2 month increments would that be ok with you? Would you call them the day they were late paying it to you? Most likely, yes. How is this any different? Just pay your bills on time and you won't have companies calling you asking you to pay them like you agreed to.
