I would not write this except someone else already complained about them. I bought a car from a chrysler dealer in PA. I broke down outside of washington DC. I had purchased the extended warrentee from chrysler service contracts. I had it towed to a dealer in DC. They told me the timming gear had shattered and the valves had burned up. I had put 1500 miles on it.

They replaced the timming gear then told me I owed them 1400 bucks for a valve job because it was not covered under the warrentee. I called and was told in no uncertain terms that the valves were not an internal engine component and since there was a 10% chance that the timing gear did not cause the damage they did not feel responsible to pay the damage.

I was stuck 200 miles from home and no car. The car was repo'd four months later because I still had to make the payments on a car I could not get.
