This hotel has bedubgs/mites. I got infected after staying there for one night. I broke out all over my body, had terrible itching and had to seek medical attention. This was a horible experience. I had to miss work, and seveal other things becuase I was itching so badly. After doing some research I found that some other folks who stayed at this hotel had experienced this type of problem. I am reasonable guy so I conacted the hotel, stated my case and simply asked to reimbursed for my charges there. They responsed and admitted in writing that they had in the past had a bedbug problem but they felt it had been eradicated and that they would do nothing for me. This is very disturbing. They refused to give me a refund which I suppose is there progative. The sad part is I really liked the place and planned to go back. No way I ever will after this incident. I dealt with their "risk management" department and there assement was that what happened to me was not a "risk". Go figure. My suggestion to anyone thinking about staying at this hotel is DO NOT.

Thanks for the rebuttal, and let me clear this up. The information you are providing is not accurate. I did not have an alergic reaction, I had bed bugs or more specifically as diagnoised by my medical professional "SCABIES". What i was advised by the doctor is that one will latch on to you and nest, and the re-produce. It takes about 4 weeks for the infection to spread and have multple outbreaks all over your body. I appreciate what you are saying but you are not correct. I was diagnosided by my medical professional as having bedbugs/scabies. I had to cover my enitre body in an incectiside cream called "premethizen" in order to erradicate the infrection as well as do this to my entire house in one way or the other. I am not being a "Media Puppet" as you so claim here. I have an actual viable issue. In fact, I have in writing from the hotel that they did in fact have a bedbug infesation. I will share the entire thing with you if you would like. Good points on the soaps and whatever but not in my case. Started on my belt line, then went behind my knees, then to my feet, etc. Look up SCAIBES on the web and you will see what I am talking about. I have pictures of the infection on my body as well. I am not caught in any leagal crosshair. Thanks for your info.

The reason they will not refund you is that legally your complaint has no merit. And by no merit, I mean that you did not FIND any bedbugs. If you had and then shown a employee you would have gotten a refund. Itching is only one of a multitude of symptoms associated with bedbugs. Its more then likely that you were NEVER attacked by bedbugs and are having a slight allergic reaction to the industrial soap used on their bedclothes. I lived and worked in Vegas so I can tell you first hand that the soap they use is POTENT!!!

For future reference, Bedbugs and Pissants leave a similar welt/bite mark. However a piss ant or sugar ant has a smaller welt and itches and burns. A bedbug is a lot like a east coast mosquito. A LARGE welt that never stops itching. Had this been a bedbug attack, you would have noticed IMMEDIATLY upon waking. Sometimes the bites will actually drive you out of bed. If these issues did not occur then you had an allegic reaction.

First, stop being a media puppet. Actual bedbug infestations are really rare. As most hotels/motels normally flip and spray the mattresses once a week to keep this from happening. Bedbugs are also a bit of a regional insect in that they need a specific enviroment in order to flourish. Second, instead of listening to what some freind tells you, if you feel you were attacked by bedbugs you need to seek medical attention. Bedbugs are Blood feeders. This means IF you had a bedbug incident you need to get checked out. A hotel/motel IS NOT the place you want a bedbug attack. Too many different ppl would have been attacked and you would be at risk for a blood born disease.

Lastly, I feel you are blaming this company for something you have zero proof on. Ok you itched after staying there. Instead of doing your due diligance and PROVING the issue, You instead decide to use the internet as your weapon. Well let me be the first to tell you this if you havent heard it. People AND businesses are innocent until PROVEN guilty. All you have done is put yourself out there to be sued for defamation of character and slander. Im sure all anyone in that company has to do is contact the managment and inquire as to the name and address of anyone CLAIMING a bedbug attack in the past year at that location. Its food for thought for you. You might want to post a rebuttal to this explaining that this post is your personal OPINION. Because otherwise you have put yourself in a legal crosshair.
