Church's Fried Chicken ripoff Gainesville Florida
Church's Fried Chicked still continues to false advertise their prices. On their menu, they advertise a full meal deal and then show options below for the number of pieces, yet when you drive up to the window, they charge you almost $10 more stating, "that is the 'chicken only' price, the meal is more".
No where on the order menu was stated "chicken only" and this item was immediatly below a line that stated "full meal with biscuits, slaw, and mashed potatoes, and 3 corn"
On top of overcharging me, I didn't get the corn either. On top of that, since it was so much, I didn't have the cash and had to put it on my debit card. The jerk behind the counter hands me the paper and says in a very arrogant manner, "I guess you don't have a pen either, huh?" Guess what, Church's, last time you get my money! When or if you clean up your menu and get rid of your sirly and motley crew, then maybe I will reconsider.
Stay away from Church's ripoff. At least Popeye's gives me what I pay for without the false advertising!

I came across this situation a long time ago at a drive through restaurant, which is no longer in business (gee I wonder why?). Anyways I know what you mean, if I where you, I would tell them no thanks, that's not what your ad said and drive away. I would complain to the owner/manager about it over the phone. If enough people said screw them I am leaving, they will get there act together or go out of business. Oh yah, post on the Rip-off Report. Even though the chicken is good, I am sure it's just that location that may be pulling this deceptive ad. If you have the specific address please post it, so other knows to stay away.
