 Dodge Brand, Chrysler Group LLC TIM KUNISKISPresident and Chief Executive Officer - Dodge Brand, Chrysler Group LLC Computer in my truck replaced 5 or 6 times Dodge 1500 Customer Service Rude, will not help me , Spent 3 hours on phone no help Auburn

Since I purchased my Dodge 1500 , IT Runs great, the only problem that i have had is the computer in the truck gets shorted out about every 2 years or so- when this happens, it turns on the engine light... and then It will not pass the smog test.  While it was under warranty, it was not a problem getting it replaced at the dealship.  After the waranty expired, I had to call DOdge Chylser customer service and explain how it shorts out about every 2 years, after I explain how it keeps shoring out they agreed to get me a new computer for my truck , this has happened several times.  Each time its at the dealership, they get paid by the DODGE CHRYSLER and I dont pay anything, each time, the dealerships have told me why this keeps happening and PROMISE that I wont be back in a few years- and every single time, usually 2 -3 years later, the engine light comes on and I discover that they never fixed the reason computer in my truck shorts out-  


I called when the light came on again in Sept 2014, all I did was get the run around, they would pull up my records under my name and show someone elses vehical with my name and address

 

when the light went off , I gave up and figured it was ok, but recently the light came back on, and I took vehical to the shop they did diagnostic on it and confirmed that the computer once again !  needed to be replaced 

I have only put abour 15 to 20 thousand miles - since the last computer was put in this last time lasted about a year longer than the previous ones

 

The customer service people yesterday kept me on the phone about 4 hours because i WOULD get disconected, transfered to the wrong person./  each time I talked to dodge they would hang up on me and refuse to let me talk to the managment that could help me, they refused to even take my phone number and have managers call me back

I have been a dodge owner since the late 1980s , never have i ever been so disapointed in customer service than I am now.  I explained to them that I am am disabled and that I need my vehical, cant drive it and they seemed to think that was funny and actuall laughed at me when I explained

 SO the troll attaks a person complaining about Chrysler not being able to repair his Vehical so it stays fixed, and Chrysler won't take responsiblity for their faulty repairs.

The troll accuses the OP of wanting something for nothing, The troll is wrong as usual, the OP wants to not have faulty repairs done.

THe OP knows if he pays the (estimated) $1000.00 repair bill it will fail again in a couple years, just from experiance.

Personally I would sue Chrysler as they have not ever fixed the Truck correctly. Multiple failures of a computer means a hiddden, un-diagnosed fault.

Chrysler should suck it up and figure this out.

i have the right speak my opinion about poor customer service.  The dealership has even tried calling them and gets disconected , transfered to the wrong department

What is your problem, who do you think you are?   Dont you have a job , anything else better to do? Or do you hate RIPOFFREPORT ? 

I have the right to speak my opinion and you do not know anything about me or this situation-  i your mess you posted here , you are not involved in this, you do not know me and you do not work for DODGE or the customer service department ( because if you did you would mention that) 

You have to much free time on your hands , I am not your "BUDDY" and this is not a personal .

 

FInd something better to do with yourself, your no legal advisor 

 

MY goal is to resolve this with dodge, my phone calls were recorded and I have proof of what they said and how i was constantly disconected

I also wrote a letter to the HQ a month ago, proof of poor customer service is they have not bothered to write me back

or bothered to call and ask to hear me out

 Where is the ripoff? All I see is someone who is trying to get SOMETHING FOR FREE. face it buddy, YOU are trying to FORCE them into giving YOU a new computer and its NOT going to happen!! YOU can make ALL the ROR posts you like, it STILL wont change the FACT that your vehicle is out of warranty and THEY are NOT going to replace it for free. All YOU have done is defame THEM on a media outlet. Ask yourself a VERY important question, is what YOU ARE DOING going to end up costing YOU more then YOU would like? Firstly, YOU are trying to SCAM THEM into giving YOU your way. THAT IS ILEGAL. Secondly, YOU are posting defaming remarks on a MEDIA OUTLET. It may only be a civil matter but it can STILL cost you. Lastly, THEY can afford a prolonged LEGAL BATTLE where YOU CANNOT. So maybe before YOU go any further YOU can and will recognize that WHAT YOU are doing is by far WORSE then them not replacing your cars computer. YOU are putting yourself at risk for a civil suit that YOU WILL NOT WIN. If I can see YOUR SCAMMING for what it is a Judge and Jury will as well. Also DONT try and use YOUR disability as a excuse to get to talk with someone. No matter how many times YOU CRY AND WHINE they ARE NOT going to replace YOUR computer for free. Obviously YOUR vehicle has some problem. STOP trying to get someone else to pay for YOUR problem. Its low down and dirty. It REALLY goes to show YOUR MINDSET. And THAT mindset is set on SCAM. Customer Service DOES NOT mean that YEARS after your warranty has expired that THEY have to do ANYTHING for YOU. YOU are confused Im sure. I would LAUGH in your face as well if YOU came to me expecting to get that computer for free. Lets look at the VISABLE crimes YOU have commited. 1. Fraud. 2 Fraud by phone. 3. Defamtion. 4 Defamation with the intent to profit. 5. scamming. AT what point are YOU going to just admit that YOU are ACTIVLY attempting to commit crimes? Just because YOU are disabled does NOT give YOU the right to commit these crimes and ALL because YOU CANT AFFORD TO FIX THE PROBLEM.
