Like many others, via Quicken, I signed up for the "free" Equifax credit report through ConsumerInfo.com. And while I usually read the fine print, I did not read to the very last paragraph of the terms and conditions, the first place where it mentions that I will be charged $79.95 the first year and higher rates in perpetuity for this "service". This note, buried literall deep at the end of the fine print, seems to directly contradict the "no obligation" claim made on the main page. I am calling to cancel the service immediately, as the fine print also assures me that a pro-rated refund is available for the first 180 days.
