CIC Credit Monitor Cancelled within 30 day trial period and they STILL charged me $79.95 Orange Internet
I signed up for the free credit report at consumerinfo.com, and cancelled within the 30-day trial period. Two days ago they took $79.95 as a direct debit out of my checking account. I called and they said they had a record of me calling within the trial period to cancel, but the person I talked to TALKED ME OUT OF IT. This is a complete lie! I demanded they refund my money, they said they will within 7-10 business days, but after reading all these reports, I don't trust them one bit. I am going to my bank today and hope to have it reversed. I am also contacting Joseph Hughes, the attorney on the lawsuit against them.
