Complaint Review: CIC Credit Monitor - freecreditreport.com

After taking a lo0k online at my bank account, I also saw a charge from CIC. Not knowing what this was, I logged on to search for CIC on the internet and was outraged that I have become a victim of such a widespread problem. I went on the FREECREDITREPORT.com web site to just have a look at my current credit report. When the company asked for my CC # I was confused, but It had stated "for identification purposes only". So I went ahead and did it.

I called the company to complain and have them refund the charge, but their response was that I had signed up for some sort of TRIAL membership which had expired. My response was that this 1 time report was FREE and was not a service I had signed up for. I am still trying to get my money back. We'll see if I continue to get charged after I cancelled this SERVICE>
