A local TV news program suggested that if one wanted a free credit report contact CIC Credit Monitor SVC on the Internet. I did and thought I was paying a $5.00 fee for a supposely free one time report. Surprise when I received my credit card bill and instead of $5.00 withdrawal--$79.95 was withdrawn.
