CIC Credit Monitoring Consumerinfo Charged after cancelling consumer rip off Internet
I signed up through consumerinfo.com for my 30 day membership. I was well aware that I had to cancel before 30 days. After completing my sign up I was redirected to so many different sites and never was able to figure out how to login. I actually never saw my credit report.
I then attempted calling to cancel and was directed to send an email to cancel@consumerinfo.com. I sent my email and received a confirmation. However I received my bank statement this month and saw 2 charges. One for 9.95 and the other for 12.00 from CIC Credit Monitoring and CIC Triple Advantage.
After looking at last months bank statements I realized they charged me 9.95 and 12.00 also. I've sent them an email demanding my money back and included my original email showing confirmation of cancellation. Lets see how it goes.
