In September I attempted to complete an application for a credit report for my son. I realized that I did not have all of the information required to complete the application. I exited the website. To my surprise I found a $9.95 charge to my credit card for the billing month of September. I called and spoke to "Daisy" employee #63936. I explained to her what had happened and that I did not receive a credit report. She told me that she would take care of the charge.

Again I found a $9.95 charge on my credit card for the month of October. I called again and spoke to a representative, Carl. I was told that I was on a monthly charge credit card monitoring program. I told him that I had called last month and was told that the charge would be removed. Carl said that he would remove the October charge but that he could not remove the initial charge. I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was put on hold for several minutes then was told that the supervisor was too busy to come to the phone. I was also told that the current charge and a cancellation of this so-called monthly program would be cancelled but that the initial charge would not be removed. I told him that I did not receive a service for the money being charged and that I wanted it removed. He gave me a fax number and told me to write a statement and send it. I tried to send my complaint to the fax number given but the fax number did not ever answer.

I feel that this is totally illegal and charges should be brought against this company for illegal, dishonest, and fraudulent business practices.
