CIC*Credit Monitoring SCAM! It's not free. Rip-off! Internet
Pop-up ad said free credit report. Clicked on and started filling out info. Got to end where it said something about joining their club and then w/b charged $9.95/mo. Did not choose this and aborted site. Got charged anyway! Called to request credit and was told that it had been over 30 days and they did not give credit.
I supposedly "joined" in May and I received my 1st cc bill in July, which of course is over 30 days. I think that was done on purpose, wouldn't you say? I never received the credit report, I didn't join anything and this company is keeping my $9.95. They're a SCAM!
