I went to a free credit report site to get a report, and now I'm being charged $79.95 for a report that I never got, and one I never ok'ed a payment for.
I want my money back, and I want the charges stopped from being withdrawn from my account asap,I would also like some legal advice on filing a law suite on cic credit monitoring service for fraud and damage's

a complete sham! All they do is dispute EVERYTHING on your credit report and then charge you (the consumer) a freakin' arm and a leg to do it!
#2Consumer Suggestion
Fri, January 30, 2004
Well, I was in the same situation with clearcredit.com a few months ago. First....let me say that these "credit monitoring" companies that tell you they can get you a "free" copy of your credit report (only if you sign up with their "service"!)are NOT wanting to tell consumers about the FACT Act of 2004! Every consumer is now entitled to a copy of their credit report & score from all three major CRA's! So these companies that are using the old ploy of waving around a not so free credit report can go F*#% themselves!!!! Second....the "credit monitoring service" they are providing is a complete sham! All they do is dispute EVERYTHING on your credit report and then charge you (the consumer) a freakin' arm and a leg to do it!
