I signed up for their services at www.freecreditreport.com. This site also stated that I could cancel w/in 30 days. I emailed them the same day to let them know that this report did not have everything that I needed on it and to please cancel my subscription. I emailed them again in a couple of days to remind them that I was no longer interested in their services. 30 days later, my account was charged. I did however find their ph number and called to speak to somebody. I discovered that I should have called in the first place.

Well, ok then, pro-rate the amount for the one day of service that I used and please send me a refund. No kidding, this guy in their customer service dept spent 10 min trying to get me to stay and not have to refund my card. I explained to him that their reports do not have the complete account numbers on them and that I recv'd a TRULY FREE credit report simply by calling Equifax and Transunion. He still tried to "sell" me to keep my membership.

I finally explained to him that because their company went ahead and charged my account $79.95, I cannot pay my house pymnt. He then stated that he will have my refund processed back to my card w/in 7-10 days. Needless to say, I wrote down his name and employer number should I have to call back. Never again will I try a "Free" anything that requires a "Trial Membership". Just FYI.
