Freecreditreport.com is affiliated with experian. This is site is not for a free credit report unless you purchase one of their services.

The actual site for a free copy of your credit report from the big 3 credit reporting agencies is annualcreditreport.com.

Big difference.

Here is how you get your FREE credit report.

The ONLY place ON THE INTERNET to get your FREE credit report as required by law, is annualcreditreport.com.

You can also call each credit bureau directly and order it over the phone. I prefer this method as to will need the actual report with the file id # to dispute anything.

You cannot use the online merged 3 bureau report for doing disputes.

When you call each credit bureau, they will try to get you to do it online. When they do, just tell them you do not have internet access.

Keep in mind that NO Free Credit Reports contain scores. Credit scores are ALWAYS provided at additional cost.

In response to your initial report, always thoroughly READ and print out all of the fine print associated with anything you buy. I do know for a fact that the terms are disclosed on the offer you opted into, but you really have to look close to spot it.
