Complaint Review: CIC Monitor Services AKA Consumerinfo.com

In Feb. of this year my husband and I were looking to buy a new car. So he got on the internet to look at his credit report.

He came across Consumerinfo.com were they "claim" to give you a "FREE" report. Well he got the report alright in the tune of 79.95 to our credit card.

On 03/31/03 they billed our credit card,claiming that they could do so because my husband signed up for their services,which he NEVER did or agree to.

When our credit card holder called them with us on the other line they would not take the charge off saying we "agreed" to it and that we did not notify them either by phone or writing to tell them we did not want such a service, a service that we didnt even know we asked for,let alone agree to pay for.

So they charged our credit card anyway.
This is a SCAM,BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
