Cigna Dental Plan CHCP Dental Cigna Dental Plan rips you off for coverage while taking your premiums Bloomfield CT
Be aware that no matter what month you enroll into Cigna Dental & start payng premiums, your next enrollment will not take affect until January of the following year. I enrolled & paid for a plan in August, 2021, only to be told in August, 2022, that my coverage does not become effecitve for the new enrollment until 6 months later so I am paying for a premium for a policy that has no coverage, other than what may have been left over from the prior year's coverage. I'm paying $240.00 in premiums for nothing in coverage.
When I pay $480 in premiums for a years worth of coverage, and have to pay $1550 in co-pays/deductibles totalling $2030.00 for $1,000.00 in coverage, is this a reasonable position to be in? I'll be looking elsewhere for dental coverage & canceling Cigna Dental since I have no intention of paying $240 for no coverage.
