One of the worst, if not the worst, excuse for a Health Insurance group.

Multiple requests for "more information" even though the information has been sent and then resent to them multiple times. Their failure to pay claims, failure to reply to telephone calls and follow-ups from this policy holder and my physician's office. Phone calls are sent to "script readers" who actually are there to prevent any meaningful conversation or information being exchanged. Cigna goes by several names, Starbridge, Star Hrg, Beach Street, and Mega Insurance just to name a few of their names.

They always request and demand more paperwork from the policy holder and/or physician, hospital, medical service group and claim that they are not able to process the claim until it arrives. However, they then claim to have not received any updates and again request more paperwork. Although they are licensed in with the State of Ohio to do business, they refuse to respond to the State's inquires related to the policy holders and or medical business's not following "Cigna's" in-house internal appeal procedures.
