Scott Redwine has ripped off hundreds of people just in the past two years. He hires adjusters all over the United States and asks them to look at claims for him. They inspect these claims and write their report and turn it into Cimarron Claims Service.

When it is time for the adjusters to get paid, Scott Redwine hardly ever pays them the entire amount he owes them. He cuts and slices their billing and makes false accusations against them, saying they did not do it right or their bill was too high.

Many adjusters have quit because of his dishonesty. Several people have emailed him saying they do not want to work for someone like him.

He has also done this to his own employees in the office. He does not pay them overtime either. He expects the job to get done. It does not matter if they have to stay until 6 o'clock. He refuses to pay overtime though.

If there is any way to send an auditor out there, that would show you autimatically that he is fraudulent. He owes around $95,000 in backed taxes. Check the books. His records are extremely messed up.

I am writing this report, not for me but for all the people he has taken advantage of and ripped off. It needs to stop now.

I have been there and done that with this company. Many adjusters have gone through the same circumstances, as well as employess. Why does the state allow such a company to exist with so many reports and accusations from fellow employees ? Does not seem fair that insurance carriers will provide Cimmarron with claims when other adjusting firms are out there that are honest with their employees. They need to have the doors closed immediately. I will applaud loudly.

Truth about Cimarron

#14UPDATE Employee

Fri, December 14, 2012

When I first received a call from Cimarron to do a claim over 2 years ago I checked out this sight and saw all of the complaints against Cimarron. I gave them a chance anyway because I believe that every claim is an opportunity. Now I have been all over the map for them covering territories for Cimarron. I have never been shorted on a paycheck or reimbursement check. As far as Scott doing the training as 1 clown pointed out, he doesn't do the training he has certified people doing the training. I have been ripped off plenty in my life but never  by Cimarron and I wouldn't go on any sight and slam them I just wouldn't have anything to do with them anymore and that is simply not the case anyway. I hope anybody with a brain would know that you can't stay in business by ripping people off, it just doesn't work that way.  For all of the people writing the garbage how about putting your name on the garbage next time instead of anywhere U.S.A.

I have known Scott and Cheryl for over 7 years now and they are the kindest, most understanding people I have ever met. They do expect quality work out of their adjusters and for those who actually do their jobs properly, they are very well rewarded. It is extremely sad that a great company with great owners are getting bad reviews by ex-employees who didn't do their job or by adjusters who didn't do their job properly and cost Cimarron time and money to redo what should have been done properly in the first place. I have personally witnessed these types of events and I can assure anyone reading these reviews that Cimarron is a great place to work, Scott and Cheryl are amazing people to work for and it's nice to see a company that cares about its employees, morals, values and quality of work!

Cimarron Claims Service is a festival of lies.

Cimarron Claims Service has developed quite a reputation over the years. Scott Redwine has obviously repeatedly lied to and cheated employees in order to make personal gain. Before you accept a claim from these crooks, ask to speak to the adjuster who previously covered your area. If anyone at Cimarron Claims Service is willing to give you their contact information, the previous Cimarron Adjuster will confirm every negative thing you are reading on this website. If Scott Redwine is willing to lie about the money you will receive for your services at Cimarron Claims Service it should be obvious what else he is willing to do or not do. People have gone out of their way to spread to truth about Cimarron Claims Service due to the aggravation and damage caused by Scott Redwine's money machine. Be aware!

Scott Redwine & Cimarron Claims- CROOKS!!!

Anyone who considers going to work for this company needs to read the contract language VERY WELL and ask Scott & Cheryl exactly what the "adjusted fee schedule" is.

See, what Scott does is takes the fee schedule from a client, skims 20-30% off each billing tier and then prints up this "adjusted" fee schedule showing what the carrier pays with the 20-30% already skimmed off. This "adjusted" fee schedule is presented as the actual clients fee schedule. Not one word is said about 20-30% being skimmed off the top and the adjuster is lead to believe they are getting paid off the client carrier's actual fee schedule.

Larger the loss, the more Scott is screwing you. He does this with each and every carrier that has its own fee schedule, so, the adjuster, rather than making 60% of the client company's fee schedule (apparently taking 40% PLUS office fee is not enough for Scott) it turns out the adjuster is really making around 40%.

Example- Carrier A has a fee schedule that pays $140.00 for a loss between $0-$1000.00. Per the Cimarron contract, the adjuster gets 60%, which would be $84.00, but hold the press! Scott Redwine has his own fee schedule he has created for Carrier A called the "adjusted fee schedule" that pays the adjuster 60% off of $119.00, not $140, which means the adjuster gets paid $71.40...meaning that Scott Redwine is actually taking 51% of the client carrier's actual fee schedule. That's just at the lowest tier. Let's look at a larger loss, shall we?

Per Carrier A's actual fee schedule, a wind/hail loss between $45,000-$55,000 pays $955, of which 60%  totals $573 to be paid to the adjuster, but under the fee schedule Scott Redwine has created and presents as carrier A's fee schedule, the adjuster only gets paid $401.40, for the loss, which is only 42% of the client carrier's actual fee schedule and means Scott Redwine pockets an additional $171.60 on the claim that should have gone to the adjuster.

It gets better.

A $100,000-$150,000 loss pays per Company A's actual fee schedule $1,750, of which 60% is $1,050 the adjuster SHOULD get paid. Not so fast my friend! Scott Redwine's fake Carrier A fee schedule, the one he pays the adjuster off of, only pays $700.20, meaning the adjuster is taking home only 40% of the client company's ACTUAL fee schedule and Scott Redwine pockets an extra $349.80.

The 60% independent adjusters get is industry standard and Scott simply has to be shady about being greedy. Adjusters: You will not make your 60%, you will get lied to and used up and thrown away.

My best advice- Do not believe anything Scott Redwine or any employee of Cimarron Claims tells you and stay far, far away.

Regarding the rebuttal from Joel, he was asked to make that rebuttal by and on behalf of Scott and and Cheryl Redwine, He later terminated his employment with the company leaving because he could no longer put up with Scotts eradic and unpredictable temper from what I have understood. Since he terminated his employment with Cimarron Claims there have been others who have also terminated their employment with the company who were key players in keeping this company going. Scott has a bad habit of promising EXTRAS to adjusters so they will drive hundreds of miles for him for 1 claim and when it comes time to pay he conveniently forgets his promises, his wife Cheryl is just as bad, she plays the good cop of the company but is almost as bad a liar and a cheat as her husband Scott.  I personally know many of adjusters who will no longer have anything to do with Cimarron claims service and many more including myself who are not far behind them. I advise anyone who is seeking honest and professional employment to look elsewhere, stay as far away from this company as you possibly can. They know how to talk the talk but they cannot walk the walk. They say they pay 60% to the adjusters but that is simply a lie, many many more companies pay honestly and better than this company, but it is hard to let go of the money when they have to have money to pay for their expensive cars, there many houses and their Yacht which they brag about all the time. Such unprofessional behavior for a business.

Scott Redwine and his companies

#14UPDATE EX-employee responds

Sat, March 20, 2010

Scott Redwine and his companies: Cimarron Claims Service and now Adjustes Training Institute are a rip off and a joke!!!

I have been an adjuster in Oklahoma for over 20 years.  I have know of him since the 1990's  I wish I had never heard of Mr. Redwine or Cimarron Claim Service!  I cant imigane him now running a company that would train an adjuster?

He did more to hurt me and at least two other Individual Oklahoma Adjusters than any thief or criminal could have ever done!

He will tell you anything to get you to agree to work with him.  He will then steal information on other clients that you are working for (you are a 1099 contractor so you are working for others as well) then stab you in the back and steal the client and say - its just business.  He will not honor commitments that he makes!  (Get It In Wrighting - You Are Going To Need It!)

I can name several Adjusting Companies in Oklahoma that wish they had never heard of him because of the problems he created while he himself (before Cimmaron Claims) was working for them as their staff adjuster.

He has been involved in a number of bad faith claims in Oklahoma where the client will never do business with him again because of the nightmare him or his claim service created for them.  So now he is going to train adjusters - go figure?

He only created his claim service because no company or claim service in Oklahoma would hire him!  Now he is creating a training company for adjusters (What a Rip Off)

If you want to get quality training and work for a good company - check out Pacesetter Claim Service in Northeastern Oklahoma.  They are a real claim service and a real training company with a proven track record.

I have moved on as have a # of others. Dont be a fool - check this guy out!

The Oklahoma Claim Association has a web site with a number of company adjusers, individual adjsters, and claim services listed.  All of these are living and working in Oklahoma - Call around - you will be luckey if you find anyone who would recommend that you work for him or would give him a claim assignment.

See how many of them would send their adjuster for training at Adjuster Training Institue in Broken Arrow, OK?   Call the Oklahoma State Insurance Commissioners office and check to see if this is accredited training by the State Ins. Dept.  See how many complaint the State Ins Dept received on him or his claim service.

Ask him for a list of references to check out.  If he has been in claims since the 1980's talk to some of the folks he worked for in the 1980's, the 1990's, the 2000's.  See what excuses you get on why he cant give this out.  Anyone worth anything should be able to give references back to their first job up to date - I know for a fact he can not!

I agree Scott Redwine has ripped off God only knows how many people and it needs to stop!

The real Scott Redwine and Cimarron Claims

#14

Thu, September 10, 2009

There are two things in this life gentlemen - there is the truth, and that which is NOT.

The truth is, if you Google Scott Redwine or Cimarron Claims you AUTOMATICALLY pick up complaints about him and Cimarron Claims, and in fact, those are the first things you see are complaints.  There is obviously a reason for that.

Then of course there's all the facebook, MySpace, Classmates.com stuff that Scott likes to be a part of and that's fine and good - social networking isn't necessarily a bad thing.

The problem is the complaints  - and the fact of the matter is, Scott Redwine and Cimarron claims have so many complaints its hard to keep up with them.  And don't get me wrong, it's not just Scott - it's virtually every division of Cimarron Claims I'm finding out now that I've been looking.  See, I happen to be very close to a situation that continues to evolve with Cimarron Claims, and I happen to know very well how Cimarron treats AT LEAST it's 1099 adjusters  - and if that's any sign, well, I can only imagine that the truth is the complaints are simply going to keep on coming.

Bottom line is this folks: Cimarron Claims is not a good company, in my opinion, to deal with in any way, shape or form.  I have over 35 clients - ranging from adjusting firms to direct work with some of the most major insurance companies in the marketplace.  And the truth of the matter - I did a favor for Cimarron once - and I won't ever do it again.

I, myself, gave them one chance to prove what everyone else told me about them wrong, and they blew it.  The cheated me, they lied to me, and they still owe me money, and refuse to pay it.  Thus, I refuse to do business with them and will do everything I possibly can to make sure to educate others about the risks of doing business with companies like Cimarron Claims.

I was told that the one file I would be handling for them would be time and expense, the rate was $59.50 per hour, and they were "desperate" for help on it.  It was 4 hours away and I reluctantly said yes to help them out when Mike Harper asked me to out of desperation.  After putting in almost 16 hours and going on 500 miles, taking dozens of photos, and cleaning up one heck of a mess, they paid me $300.00 and said there was nothing they could do about it.

You get what you get apparently and now they won't even talk to me.

Like I said - there are two things - and the truth is, they're a company I strongly advise NO ONE ever do business with.

Ever.

Scott Redwine and his company's reputation

#14UPDATE Employee

Tue, August 19, 2008

Scott Redwine does not underpay his employee's by any means. His adjusters are not discontent with the way they are paid and understand the operation of how he pays them. I have worked plenty of overtime for this company and seen exact amounts of the hours worked with overtime paid. He has never ripped me off or anyone I have worked with at Cimarron. He is actually a very generous boss if you can perform properly and handle the task of being an employee of the company. His claims inspections are very thorough and he does request a high quality of performance from his employees but does reward if he is proven that you can achieve a given goal.

Cimarron Claims Service, Inc. - Scott Redwine

#14REBUTTAL Individual responds

Mon, August 18, 2008

The report that Cimarron Claims Service, Inc. - Scott Redwine has "ripped off" adjusters, employees or any other party is simply not a fact.

The party that submitted this report is a disgruntled employee who was fired for disobedience, incompetancy and insubordination in June, 2006.

The report is a hoax and I, Scott Redwine, demand that the author provide proof that I have been unethical and dishonest. I also demand that the author provide proof that our company refuses to pay employees for overtime, that our accounting is fraudulent and that I owe "backed" taxes.

The fact that our business continues to thrive speaks volumes for our reputation as a professional organization with an emphasis on providing a quality service to our customers.

Our employees compensation is above average, they are provided competitive benefits and plenty of opportunity for growth.

Respond to this Report!
