Cingular AT&T cingular unresolved issue on going c417 samsung warranty exchange San Antonio Texas
I purchased my Samsung C417 in Dec/06 and have had on going problems ever since. The issue are as follows: Dropped calls, the phone shuts off on its own, I can make or receive calls, when I finish a call and press end the times still says that I am still on the call. Mind you this is my 3rd Samsung C417. Most recently I went through the warranty exchange program again but this time I said I did not want a 4th C417 .
I was advised by the customer service rep that she cleared it with her supervisor to so send me a Motorola V3XX and that it will come with a battery charger and back cover. When I received the phone it was missing the charger and back cover and battery. When I called and asked to speak to a supervisor they advised my that I have to send the phone back it was sent to me in error I would have to get another C417 . I said I do not want a 4th phone that seems to have issue. Since I didn't receive resolution I sent an email to the president of cingular and to the BBB.
I then followed up with a phone call to the president office The secretary connected me to another rep that worked in the presidents office. He also stated that I would have to get a 4th replacement phone before I can get a different model or extend my contract for 2 more years. I as this rep to pull the phone call that I had with the rep that sent me the Motorola This was not so I can listen to it but so he could listen to the fact that it was approved. I was then told that the phone call would have to be subpoenaed for their internal staff to listen to it.
Since I work in a call center I know that all calls are recorded This is done for quality assurance and you get monitored on calls and graded most call centers do that. So now I have a phone that has not worked for almost a year and I have never gotten credit for this on going issue. I will continue to call and go higher until I get 100% resolution.
