Complaint Review: Cingular Wireless

7 months before my wireless contract is up a material feature of my phone does not work.

the phone's microphone and receiver does not pick up sounds. I have to put on the speakerphone feature to listen and talk thereby obviating any privacy in my conversations.

the CSR said that since its been over a year, no warranty and no insurance since I did not buy it.

the phone should work for the duration of the contract

so it seems like I am paying for a phone that works for one year and a phone that doesn't work for the 2nd year.

feel really cheated
