Complaint Review: Cingular Wireless

Cingular Wireless Cingular wireless involved in underhanded practices Atwater California

Cingular wireless charges customers each time a key on the phonepad is touched. This practice allows rollover minutes to be used up very quickly. In essence each time the phone is accidentally touched (even one key) the phone processes it as a one minute phone call. This is unfair and unjust. Along with this customers are charged phone calls that do not connect. This is underhanded and buried in fineprint.

I spoke to a Cingular Rep. the other day. I dialled 611 and was connected to Cingular's Colorado office. I sopke to the man for nearly 30 min. He said that this is a bogus statement. (I've been with Cingular for years, and do not ever hearing of this.) He said that Cingular gives 30 seconds FREE when you first dial. This applied to the ringing only. The minute the call is answered, the charges begin. Also, if you let the phone ring longer than 30 seconds, the charges apply.

Sorry, but THIS Is the truth. And Cingular is growing Bigger and Better by the month! They recently bought AT&T and will begin using their towers. So this means our service will improve. And the older model phones are being replaced with better phones with better technologies, using different frequencies, meaning better reception! Go Cingular!
