Cingular Wireless ripoff, poor reception, not providing what is advertised Atlanta Georgia
We have terrible reception, specially with other Cingular customers. Cingular's contract and advertising states we will be able to call other Cingular customers for free. However if we cannot receive calls, that is a invalid feature to offer.
The reception is particularly poor when we are inside the city limits of our rural town. Some other Cingular customer can be 1-2 miles away, but we cannot call them. We have to drive to find the "sweet spots" with decent reception.
Many times a single phone call requires us to make 6 or more attempts, sometimes without ever getting through.
Our family members are extremely dissatisfied with the quality of service Cingular has provided regarding good reception.
