I lost my cell phone thru cingular because of the following reasons: I didn't pay my bill for one month, as I had to go to baby brothers funeral, as he was murdered. In the meanwhile the very week before I paid the double bill, the phone didn't work correctly.

So, on feb 25,04 I paid the total amt due for the cell. The rep said everything was fine, and go get a new sim card at nearest cingular location. So, I tried that, they told me I had to wait until I got back to texas. I was in kenton county, erlanger, ky at the time.

When I arrived home, I went to cingular in a few days after I rested. When I got there, the rep said, you were cancelled on feb. 24th. and they added the cancellation fees of both phones which was $250 and $150 = $400.00 phone had been off over a week and half. the final bill was like $700, and than up to $900 or so. This is not right.

They said we had to pay the $400 + a deposit before we could have phones back on. This is an outrage, and bad business ethics I think. I wrote to them and everything. they wouldn't do nothing. So, how do we owe $900.00 that's not the right amount anyway in collection now, and in credit bureau i presume.
