Cingular Wireless The ultimate unenforceable ripoff Atlanta Georgia
For almost sixteen months I have had a running battle with Cingular about service, lack of service, hardware, ability to use my phone, and ability to retrieve my messages.
I have wasted more than 90 business hours trying to get wireless services while all the time paying for the times when I had no service or the phones I have had didn't work.
I have been offered phones that don't work, phones that the Cingular stores don't carrry any more and watched as Cingular technicians screwed up my account so badly that even their experts had a hard time unscrambling the mess up.
All the time, Cingular has never offered me any compensation for wasting my time, deprieving me of my rightful cell phone time, and causing me inconvenience with technician that are insolent, incompetent, rude, and all around lying persons.
I suggest that anyone having problems with Cingular file a report with the FCC, their state Attorney General, their Public Services Commissioner, and their Congressman.
Maybe if enough of us file, somebody, somewhere will do something.

I can understand your problem with Cingular. It seems they have done this to to many people since they were Bell South Mobility. Do a search on the internet for Cingular,fines, problems etc. You should uncover an article that they were fined Many millions of dollars for poor customer service and charging people early termanation fees. I had a problem many years ago and they only offered me a $5.00 credit for turning off my phone for their mistake. They kept it on my credit record for years. It almost kept me from purchasing my home. After Cingular was fined they removed the removed the delinquency. Keep writing the FCC and the attorney general office. Believe me they keep record of this. Good Luck.
