Cintas #053 Ethics and Customer Relations Pico Rivera, California
Cintas, supplied me with toliet paper, paper towels, mats, dust mop and mop heads. I have complained about broken dispensers and which never got response. However, Since December 2010 I have been struggling to make the monthly payments to Cintas. In April my account was turned over to collections. I have since offered to pay the $461.58 which I owe if they will allow me to make two payments and then allow me to cancel a contract which they say binds me to keep their service for five years. The problem for me is that it should be clear to Cintas, I am in financial difficulty. If I could afford to continue the service, I would not have gotten behind. I am willing to make good on what I owe but need their assurance that I will be able to continue one month COD and then cancel the contract. Since I can't afford this. The alternative is that we will end up in court. I have been threatened and harassed by their collector and told that I can't cancel this bill even through bankruptcy. Looking at the internet, I see that this is something that has been reported by others as to how Cintas does business. I want to resolve this and not be just another negative post on line about this company.
