Writing report on behalf of my 16 year old son, who was supposed to be the gift recipient, and my mother, who was the purchaser.

CipherGames.com offered for a low sale price three Warhammer sets which my son wanted very badly for Christmas.  My mother ordered the toys 3 weeks before Christmas, with the web site saying the items were "in stock"; she was also ordering express delivery.  A few days after the order, my mother gets an e-mail saying the items weren't in stock, and won't be able to ship until after the 28th, and "I am assuming this is a holiday gift?". The tone was not apologetic, just matter of fact. (Unfortunately, my mother did not see this e-mail for another 3 days). My mother was upset about this, and we asked him to deliver it on the 28th anyway.  We gave our son a picture of the gifts promising it to him, telling him the store was having problems.

Three weeks after Christmas, my son still didn't get delivery of the gifts.  After a set of e-mails sent back and forth, the situation got worse.  He said he wasn't going to honor the price because he couldn't get the manufacturer to give it to him at the same price, wanted my mother to negotiate the price with manufacturer.  He was only willing to cut the shipping price because she wasn't "getting the order express".  My mother told him to give her a refund.

I think the whole problem I have was not just the fact that the guy didn't care about his customer's wants, but also wanted to have his customers literally pay the price for his poor judgment and organization, after saying something was in stock that didn't even have.
