The store had a national advertisement in the store flyer and the internet. The offer was a gift card with signup for broadband services.

Anthony first claimed that the systems are down and that I can come back tomorrow. Upon further questioning he disclosed that Circuit City will not be honoring this offer at all and became rude. This means that he was aware that Circuit City is not honoring the offer, and was willing to cause a customer an unnecessary trip to the store twice.

Marco Corral told another employee that he can see me in a back office. He was leaning back in a chair behind the desk and said "What's up buddy". His manner and tone was self-important and lacking respect. He showed me a poor photocopy of a one page letter which he called a "legal document" from Circuit City. When I pointed out that it has no date, he wrote a date on it and said "Now it has a date".

As I am not sure if these employees gave their correct names. Anthony is black and wears glasses. Marco is short and hispanic, apparently store director.
