On July 1st 2007 I purchased a Toshiba laptop from Circuit City. I was told by the saleman that I needed a router and an antivirus program. I had to make a second trip to return the router and antivirus program which I already have. I advised him that I have DSL norton already. He said it wouldn't matter people would be able to get into my computer that they would install extra security. So I had to pay $109.99 and have their firedog come out to install and set up my laptop.

When firedog turned on the computer it didn't work and he had to go get a new one. No programs were installed and he just took out some of the advertising that comes on the laptop. I feel I was ripped off when I could of done that myself.

I've been waiting for my $150.00 rebate from the laptop I was told by the saleman that it takes 2 weeks to get back not true almost a month now and they confirmed that they received the refund and stated it could take up to 8 weeks to get.

The lap top was on sale for $549.00 with a $150.00 rebate so it should of been $449.00 my total bill after everything they said I needed was $836.28. I feel that they are very dishonest customers and selling things they don't need. I feel I should be reimbursed my $109.99 because he really didn't do anything accept remove some of the advertisments that are installed from the factory. didn't set up my Vista windows or anything.and my rebate of $150.00 still hasn't been received. Thank You

If you look on your rebate forum it should clearly say that rebates take 6 to 8 weeks to get back after you have mailed them in. You will be getting your rebate back assuming you followed all of the instructions listed on the rebate in about month and a half.
