Circuit City ripoff, credit card and cityadvantage protection plan Mentor Ohio
Recently (11-12-03) my boyfriend spent $600 after applying for a Circuit City credit card. After his credit was ran and he was approved we found out it is really a visa card and not a in store card only like we were led to believe.
We were also told like many others on here that the cityadvantage plan would cover the screen being ripped, dropping and normal wear. Tomorrow the card, cityadvantage plan will be cancelled and the radios, parts, installation pretty much $400 of the $600 will be returned. The $200 that we will be paying are only the products that are non-returnable after 14 days another one of their policies not explained until the item is purchased and the reciept printed.
