Hi. I just wanted to warn people about buying any sort of warenty from Circuit City. I bought one for a computer i purchased, and recently one of the keys to the kepboard fell off. They claimed I must have been typing too hard(no joke), and that it wasn't covered. No wonder the company has been doing so poorly. The sad thing me and my family have probably bought over 20000 dollars worth of stuff from the store in the past 8 or so years(a few computers, large tv etc), and they have lost all our buisness from now on just because of this litle issue. I don't see Circuit City lasting much longer.

#2Consumer Suggestion

Sat, February 12, 2005

thinking that it matters how much money they have spent at a store.

IT DOES NOT. When it comes to warranties IT DOESN"T MATTER HOW MUCH YOU HAVE SPENT AT THE STORE, your loyalty has nothing to do with the warranty.

I have no idea h ow a button would just fall off a keyboard, I'm thinking it would be by misuse as well, just keyboards are pretty resiliant, in my experience.

Stop complaining and call the manufacturer, see if this is a common problem with your model, see what thier suggestion would be on how this happened.

If the manufacturer tells you that this si a common problem, then Circuit City should fix it, but if they feel it was mis use as well, you just have to eat the cost. It's a d**n button, it won't take that much to fix. Stop whining
