Circuit City sold me a scanner that has never worked not once.
I bought a H/P scanner from circuit City. I called them when it didn't work and then went down there. I was told I needed newer soft ware from H/P and it was ordered for me. It still didn't work.
I was told I was sent the wrong soft ware so I contacted H/P again and was sent new installation disc again. Did this three times.
Then I was told well my guarantee was out and I had bought an extended warranty from Circuit City when I bought my entire system. I was told it won't take effect for 1 year.
Year-goes by and I go back with my scanner and they tell me now my guarantee is not with them its with GE so now I have to contact them. When I bought my system I was told if anything goes wrong with the monitor,scanner or the printer all I had to do with this extra warranty is just bring it in and they would replace it right there on the spot.
Now I am told a different story. I will never buy anything from Circuit City again.

After a year and a half of no service I wrote the G E warranty company and after about two months my warranty money was refunded. Of course I still have a scanner that will never work or be fixed but after all my trouble I was happy to get my money back on my warranty as i already knew the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on.The money came to me in a check from Circuit City so they must own the warraanty company.

I called the GE people who are suppose to waranty my scanner and I was told that since it has never worked it has a pre-existing condition and they also will not replace it.
