Effective 2 October 2008 I will no longer need the services of Cirro Energy.

Your company has and IS violating the Deceptive Trade Practice Act. Cirro CLAIMS to save you money however after being pushed into renewing at a rate of 13.9 cents per kilowatt hour and actually billed 14.69 cents per kilowatt hour. Also the rate Is advertised as Variable rate meaning the rate should go up or down depending on the market, I was told by one of your customer service supervisors that Variable MEANT THE RATE COULD ONLY GO UP.

Not 6 Weeks later there were 30 + companies with lower prices than Cirro. As much as 2.89 cents per kilowatt hour. Cirri Energy advertises on television about the BIG PIG companies charging more WELL CIRRO IS THE PIG COMPANY the guy at the dinner table taking all the food IS CIRRO ENERGY.

I have already made arrangements to switch providers on 2 October 2008. The Bill for August 2008 and the final bill for September 2008 will be paid. HOWEVER any attempt to try and collect and early termination fee will result in legal action. Including a formal complaint to the PUC, the Office of Attorney General of Texas and Legal action in civil court if need be. In light of Cirro's attitude toward its customers waiving the termination fee is and will be a lot less expensive to Cirro then the actions that I will take.

Furthermore I will send this to every local television station in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Bad press can be very expensive.

I would like a response within 72 hours so that I know where I/we stand on this

CIRRO will lie to you, cheat you out of hard-earned money, and then try to ruin your credit for leaving them!!!

2/20/09: JUST got off the phone with a Cirro rep while ago, and couldn't believe the audacity that this woman had to sit there and bold-face lie to me when I know d**n good and well what is happening in my world.

LAST June reps at Cirro kept calling me and bugging me to renew my contract, and I knew darn good and well I didn't want to because I was already angry at them for the way they'd done me the previous 2 years. I mean lie after lie, and no matter what you do you just can't win; they have us by the balls. And they know it. But she convinced me to renew based on one thing - the promise of 14 cents/kwh locked in for a whole year. I agreed after making sure about all the details, and she stated we would be recorded while I verbally agreed to this new contract. WELL I noticed my bills coming in since, and were always showing different amounts (always higher) of course, [Cents/KwH] ~ so I called to see what's up with that......... I quickly got some run around about the price of the electricty - how it fluctuates and I'm really paying the 14 cents, but the way they have it figured into my bill it looks like a totally different amount........I said "wait a minute, what???" I mean I knew this Rep was really feeding me some major bull s**t. I knew now - once and for all - that they just flat out LIED to me, and will tell you anything to try to smooth over the problem at hand. OMG they will sit there and literally insult a person's intelligence, say ANYTHING at all, to get the problem resolved temporarily, like we are just so stupid we don't know what time it is.

When I asked how my bill could be so freaking high ($200) when it's dead of winter, I live alone in an apt, I use only a small fireplace heater in my living room to heat one room up with and I use blankets to cover up with while watchng TV, I don't have many lights burning cause I like the little night-lights and candles, that .......basically I'm very efficient and energy-conscious; so how is it that my bill could be $200??? Well, it got me nowhere because that's how they are trained - to make us more confused and just throw our hands up at the confusion.....She told me I should get on a contract since I'm not on one and that I'm @ variable rate; I told her I am on a contract at 14 cents and she just kept saying, no, no your not on contract that's why your bill is so high. I told her I strictly remember being put on one and being told that the conversation is recorded and the chills I felt going down my spine because of another year of committment to these tyrants! Long story short as possible, I told her I wanted a supervisor to pull the phone recording from June 08 and I want her And myself to listen to it together and she assured me that the s-visor would call me Monday.

GOOD PEOPLE OF TEXAS - TAKE SOME ADVICE IF YOU WANT TO SAVE YOURSELF SOME MAJOR PROBLEMS AND HEADACHES - STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM CIRRO AS POSSIBLE - GO WITH ANY OTHER COMPANY, DON'T LET PRICE BE THE REASON YOU GET SCREWED BY THEM! YOU WILL CERTAINLY REGRET IT........... THEY NEED TO BE CLOSED DOWN AND BE ORDERED TO PAY BACK ALL THE MONEY THEY HAVE PILFERED FROM THEIR CLIENTS.

Oh and one other thing, if you do get your electricity disconnected at Cirro because you couldn't pay your bill all in full or because of oversight, or whatever the case may be, they will charge you $125 plus the bill you owe - to turn it back on. This is a FACT. I'm running as fast as I can away from these tyrants......and never looking back. What they do is illegal to people, falsifying contracts, statements, and cheating them out of their money year after year, after year.........

Angry in Addison, Never use Cirro Energy again for my electric provider!!
