Complaint Review: CIS Worldwide (Complete Investigation Services)

Please do not use this company. For one search I tried to conduct, they gave me 4 results. Unfortunately, the 4 results were exactly the same. Not to mention it was information already available for free on the internet. Cost: $10.

I tried to add more information to above search and received the same information. Cost: $10.

Then I tried a person search providing the required information. The search result was, "Too many matches found. Please refine your search by including a city...: So I did. Cost: $5 to get the "too many matches found" result. And: $5 to add the city on the search the second time.

When I complained, I basically received a "we're not responsible for what turns up on our database" answer. In other words, too bad!

There also isn't anyway to contact these people over the phone or email. You can send them an email via their website (the email address is never revealed). Of course, it must fit in with a certain topic and when they do send you the "too bad" answer, you are not able to send a reply.

This is the first time I have ever been scammed over the internet. I will definitely keep my eyes open in the future.
