CISworldwide.com sold online service without fulfillment; no ability to contact Ripoff Internet

I needed to find the information for a phone number that had been calling my house. I googled "phone number lookup" and a website, reversemobile.com, popped up. I entered the phone number on their website and was promised information such as a name and address for the phone number for $29.95.

I paid the fee and was redirected to another website, CISworldwide.com. I had to enter a username, password and access code provided to me on the initial website, reversemobile.com.

When I entered the information, I was then given the opportunity to re-enter the phone number I was looking for information about. At that point I received a message that said there were "no matches" for that phone number.

I went back to reversemobile.com and realized there was no real contact information. I sent an email to their "customer service" department about what happened with my search and immediately recieved a canned response which provided no recourse for my complaint. Basically the response said it was illegal to provide phone records in the USA for phone numbers and if I wanted to search my own phone records, I should contact my service provider, information which was conveniently excluded when I originally tried to research the matter.

I sent another email, and received the exact same response. I want my credit card refunded and people to realize this "service" is a scam!
