My mom's ford expedition was repossessed by the bank; however, we have paid every month. I have copies of the checks front & back that say they already cashed them. They have alledgedly said that we are 127 days late. That's crazy. We haven't gotten any letter stating this either.

About 3 weeks ago, we got a letter stating we owed $2.048.00. However, the letter wasn't signed & the mailing address was not the regular mailing address that we sent the payments to. I call a 1-866-number to find out what was this letter about.

A young man answered the call. I asked if I was talking to CitiFinamcial Auto, he replied "yes" but I was suspicious of this phone call. He put me on hold for 5 minutes then some lady came on the line. I asked why was a letter not signed by anybody from CitiFinancial, she replied well our office doesn't have the authority to sitgn any document.

They also claimed that a check from my bank account bounced twice. I had $500.00 in the account. I have all of my bank statements to show where they removed the funds every month. My mom called the police & the insurance company to inform them about the repossession. can you help us what can we do? What legal options are there?
