I recently had and Account with Citi Financial
About a year ago i paid citi financial in full 1200 dollars. I did overnight the check but because it was received 1 day late they charged me with a finance charge of 300 dollars. After disputing the charge on my card, because their was a paper trail saying i did send payment in on time, they decided to settle on half in the amount of 150 dollars. After wards i called to pay my balance off in full and they said i still owed 300 dollars, me being tired of dealing with the rude customer service i was receiving i paid it. The next day i received a letter in the mail from them saying that they would settle my card on 135 dollars. I called the collections dept. that sent me the letter and they said their was noting they could do for me. After asking repeatedly to talk to a manager they hung up on me. I did call back 3 times and every time they herd it was me they hung up on me. Finally the last time i called i got to speak with a manager. The manager was very rude yelling at me for no reason! i have never heard anyone of authority in a business yell at a customer like he did. I just want to let everyone know not to do business with citi financial and if you do pay them off and be done with that company. I just don't understand how the collections dept. can call people at work and home time and time again but when i call 3 times they don't want to help me at all. I will NEVER do business with Citi Financial again!!!
