Caduceus Pharmacy was billed and charged $102 monthly for five months after requesting that our account be cancelled. A total amount of $512.00 was deducted from our Citibank checking account from September 2011 to January 2012 despite numerous calls to cancel the account since September 2011. The first request to cancel was made via telephone to our representative Mike Cortesto cancelled the account in September 2011. During the period from September 2011 and January 2012 Caduceus Pharmacy has not used Citi Merchant Services to process any transactions.
Caduceus Pharmacy representative Sandy Reese called Citibank Merchant Services on 9/16/11 to request cancellation of our Citi merchant account ending in 0889 because of dissatisfaction of their high rates, Caduceus Pharmacy didn't need the services of Citi Merchant because we already had a contract with another merchant service vender with much lower rates. Despite the request to cancel we received another bill for $102.40 in October.
We called Citi Merchant again in October and noticed that our bank statement reflected yet another deduction of $102.40 again in November. We contacted Citi Merchant again in November to cancel the account and noticed that our bank statement reflected yet another deduction of $102.40 in December We called Citi Merchant again and spoke to Scott Bradley (Supervisor of Account Specialist) on 12/22/2011 and he informed us that he would cancel the account as previously requested effective 9/1/2012.
In January we noticed that our bank statement reflected yet another deduction of $102.40 for January . On January 22,2012 we called Citi Merchant again and spoke to George ext #3130338 who assured us that the account will be cancelled and gave us a ticket number of #20947893. Today we were told a Vivian at ext 3165602 that the reason that they did not cancel the account in October when we called for the second time was because they would not be able to issue a credit on an account that was closed.
We believe that Caduceus Pharmacy has been a victim of fraud and request an investigation and that Citi Merchant refunds the full amount of $512.00 to us. We can be reached at (((redacted))) or by email at (((redacted))).
Sincerely,
Sandy ****
