CITI MORTGAGE-HOME OWNER ASSISTANCE STARTED PROCESS APRIL 14, 2009, STILL GETTING THE RUN AROUND O'FALLON Missouri
I filed all the necessary paper work for the home owner assistance program. I did this online and faxed in the paper work for both my first and second mortgage. I purchased the home 10/2006.
In 12/2006 I became unable to work. I filed for SSD. I was finally awarded this in 11/2008. I have kept current on all of my debts.
I have been called citi mortgage home owner assistance (CMHA) to date 31 times. I get a different story everytime. They are waiting for a home value report to come in before they can complete the process.
I have been told twice that this was a report that a local realtor did using the data base in MLS and using the home values of those home sold in my area.
I was told 6/12/09 it would be in on 6/19, I was told 6/19 it would be in 6/25 at the latest. I was told this morning they could not proceed yet and that the process takes 10-14 business days. ok....6/5-6/29 is 24 days. But, I started the process on 4/14/09.
I did ask to speak to a supervisor that told me again there was nothing they could do until the report comes it. I told them there has got to be some way to speed up this process. I was told there wasn't.
I have a medical disability, awarded by SS and yet my mortgage company is telling me to be patient and that 23,000 of their customers have applied for home owner's assistance.
I am tired of being jerked around and told to be patient. Four months and I am still waiting. What can I do. Any suggestions. ?
