Citifinancial Auto ripoff I had my car refinanced by Wells Fargo for 11,500 and I had to pay the difference of 689.00 Citifinancial refused payoff There is no penalty in my contract for early payoff Bedford Texas
I called Citifinancial to get a payoff. The payoff amount was 12,189.61 on May 23rd. The manager at Citifinancial said that they probably would not except the pay because I am a new customer. I told him that is no clause in my contract stating penalty for paying loan off early.
I spoke with the VP and she said the same exact thing as the manager stated above. Also, the Vp said that I could not pay off my vehicle until June 7th in which the payoff would be 12,306.67.
I stated that I had the money to pay the account off in full the next day. Well Fargo was going to overnight and check for 11,500 and they would have too debit my account on the May 25th for the amount of $689.61.
Can anyone help me???? Any advice.

I have an auto loan with Citifinancial at an interest rate of 14.8% and I have received a better offer to refinance with another company. I have had this loan with citi for 21 months now. Were you about to pay it?
