Citi bought my loan after closing and somehow my county taxes were not paid as documented paperwork of the HUD in the closing says. I received a county tax bill 5 months after moving in. CitiMortage claims my escrow is at ZERO in the red. How can this be? We just bought the home.They never notified us 2 months prior to (a federal law) and raised my mortgage A hundred dollars and split up payment to pay off the escrow shortage over twelve months.My account should have STARTED with all taxes and HOI PAID and somehow a large amount of money is missing. In calling them I get put on hold for so long I am forced to finally hang up the phone. Each person I speak with denies what the last person said. I called them and they are reviewing/ researching my account because of the odd escrow shortage.

They tell me this but I do not believe them. The last person I finally just spoke with I COULD NOT UNDERSTAND. He had to spell his Indian? first name four times for me. My next step is an attorney and I am calling HUD and FHA. If anyone wants to do a class action law suit with me let me know in consumer comments.
