Citizens Trust Financial Group Employment false employment advertised positions that were not available said they try to charge people as much as they can for refinancing Lutherville Maryland
I went through Zip Realty for employment and then I was told that it would be with this company. I said that I wanted a managemnet type position(the one advertised) or a mortgage broker. Then they had me come in for an interview and I spent 40 mins driving time each way, got all dressed up to find out a bunch of garbage.
I was being offered a telemarketing job! I was to call people. They told me this consisted of targeting people that were in debt and desperate. Then I was to offer them a refinancing option. Then I was told that I should charge as much as possible unless they were aware of current rates and then try to get as much as possible from them.
Im sorry but targeting people with troubled times and being told to charge them as much as you can, that you get away with, is unethical and it should be illegal. Not to mention being told of false employment positions. I am a business school graduate and am a professional. However, arriving for a telemarketing job was a shock. They are not only ripping the poor customers off as telemarketers but they are making a mochary of the hiring process. And for this they are a great candidate for RIPOFFREPORT.COM!!

Just a clarification: The headhunter was not Zip Realty but rather an employee of Zip Realty who was working on the side as a headhunter.

Citizens Trust Financial Group, Inc. ("CTFG") is a new start up residential mortgage lender that began doing business in April 2004. CTFG used Zip Realty as a headhunter for the several positions the company was seeking to fill. Mike came to interview for a mortgage loan originator position which requires selling loans to consumers. This is a sales position that requires the employee as part of their job to follow-up on leads which are provided to them by the company. So, yes, Mike was told that if hired, the job required him to call people... that is what salesman do! Just because you make phone calls does not make you a telemarketer!
Mike came to CTFG for an interview, but did not meet the company's qualifications and was therefore not hired. This report was obviously written out of anger for being turned down for the position. CTFG requires that their loan originators be highly qualified and educated to enable them to provide the best service possible to people looking to obtain mortgage loans for new home purchases, refinancing for home improvement purposes and refinancing to consolidate high interest debt. CTFG prides itself as a company that provides superior customer service and competitive, reasonable fees for the loans it makes to consumers.
It is a shame when individuals use ripoffreport.com to seek revenge and slander a company. Reports on this site should be reserved to post accurate accounts of consumer dealings with companies.
