City Furniture Tamarac//Stain Removal Scam//In Home Service Sold a Service Contract they cannot fulfill Tamarac Florida
I purchased a Service contract to cover Stain removal and In home service for 3 years. The furniture I purchased was bought back in November 2017. When I got some stains I chose to use this service as bought it for $996.12 w tax and they sent a tech out. Literally a man with a bottle of water and a towel. Instead of him removing the stain he made it worst. I called and complaint. They sent a second tech to fix the first tech issue which he determined the furniture would have to be replaced and is covered under their extended warranty. The second technician never placed the order for the replacement furniture. My wife called a 3rd time in which they send a 3rd technician which was the same tech that came out the second time. This time he says he ordered the furniture and which city furniture rep was on the phone and promised to replace the furniture as a "one time" Courtesy even though I purchased the service contract. When my furniture never came I called to follow up the status which city furniture now blames the manufacturer for not stocking these items and yet the offer me 30% to BUY more furniture. City Furniture should not offer to sell a product on behalf of service they cannot render. Ive filed a complaint to BBB and have contacted my attorney to file a complaint with Financial Services. Synchrony bank has been notified.
